Senior Technical Artist

At Globalgoals, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our creative team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating stunning animations and implementing them seamlessly within Unity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Animate visually appealing game elements, including gameplay, home screen, transitions, and features.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet the artistic vision for each project.
  • Implement animations and other graphic elements in Unity, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Develop tools and scripts to streamline art processes.
  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic across all visual elements of the game while adhering to technical constraints.
  • Provide technical support to the art team, solving complex technical issues related to art production.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the visual and technical quality of our games.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Expertise in 2D animation and excellent knowledge of Unity game development engine.
  • Experience with Spine 2D is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
  • Ability to create visually stunning assets and animations with minimal impact on performance and memory usage.
  • Ability to write custom scripts and tools to enhance workflow efficiencies.
  • Shader knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and autonomy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Art, or a related field is preferred.
