About the Role

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation and innovation in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Units, and Developer Teams to bring product roadmaps to life.
  • Provide early opinions on technical feasibility and viability of product ideas.
  • Lead the development and execution of solution demos to make digital products more tangible.
  • Establish and advocate architecture principles supporting decoupling, scale, distributed processing, microservices, domain-driven design, performance, security, and event-driven architecture.
  • Define high-level logical architecture (system design) of products, aligning to architecture principles.
  • Contribute to epic elaboration, define use cases, evaluate trade-offs, honor domain principles, produce architecture artifacts (C4 Model), and system design documentation.
  • Deep engagement with dependent domains to ensure seamless integration adhering to domain-driven design principles.
  • Lead business unit-level engagements from the solution implementation side.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated experience in software architecture and system design.
  • Proven history of designing enterprise-grade applications following domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud-native principles, API design, and eventual consistency.
  • Exposure to cloud, messaging middleware, monitoring tools, authentication/authorization, gRPC, REST, variety of persistence and caching technologies, frontend stack, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound judgment and swift decision-making skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven history in payments industry and payment services solution development.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
