Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product Management, Business Units, and Developer Teams to bring product roadmaps to life.
- Provide early opinions on technical feasibility and viability of product ideas.
- Lead the development and execution of solution demos to make digital products more tangible.
- Establish and advocate architecture principles supporting decoupling, scale, distributed processing, microservices, domain-driven design, performance, security, event-driven architecture, etc.
- Define high-level logical architecture (system design) of products, aligning to architecture principles.
- Build consensus on architectural solutions.
- Contribute to epic elaboration, define use cases, evaluate trade-offs, honor domain principles, produce architecture artifacts (C4 Model) and system design documentation, identify and define service interactions, and produce flow-level architecture, etc.
- Engage with dependent domains to ensure seamless integration adhering to domain-driven design principles.
- Lead business unit-level engagements from the solution implementation side.
- Team lead assigned developers contributing to digital payment products.
- Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated experience in software architecture and system design.
- Proven history of designing enterprise-grade applications following domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud-native principles, API design, eventual consistency, etc.
- Exposure to cloud, messaging middleware, monitoring tools, authentication/authorization, gRPC, REST, variety of persistence and caching technologies, frontend stack, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment and swift decision-making skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven history in payments industry and payment services solution development.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
