Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-end Engineer to join our Wallet team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing Proton Wallet, a cutting-edge web application that empowers individuals and organizations to take control of their personal data.

As a Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting high-quality user experiences within Proton Wallet. This includes feature development and implementation, transforming product specifications into technical requirements, and leading your team to successful implementation.

You will also be responsible for enhancing Proton Wallet's software development lifecycle, tools, and code structure for an improved developer experience through technical leadership and architecture. Additionally, you will write clear, concise, and testable code to maintain and elevate the quality of our codebase.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy high-quality user experiences within Proton Wallet
  • Transform product specifications into technical requirements and lead your team to successful implementation
  • Enhance Proton Wallet's software development lifecycle, tools, and code structure for an improved developer experience
  • Write clear, concise, and testable code to maintain and elevate the quality of our codebase
  • Manage the scoping, planning, and execution of new features, technical initiatives, and greenfield projects
Requirements
  • Experience with React or similar frameworks, developing performant and reusable components
  • Familiarity with best practices for ensuring code quality, including CI/CD
  • Ability to make architectural decisions and contribute to strategic planning and product direction
