Job Summary

Alliancecpha is seeking a highly skilled Protection Expert to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in protection and a proven track record of providing technical expertise and leadership in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an internal protection strategy by gathering information and experience raised in Alliancecpha.
  • Develop an intervention model in protection for the organization, considering all protection sub-sectors.
  • Prepare/update capacity statement on Alliancecpha projects in protection and develop advocacy plans for the sector.
  • Actively participate and support the internal Forced Mobility working group/direct support to the regional LAC Forced Mobility team.
  • Support, at technical level, the National Programs in the preparation/submission of project proposals (for different donors) and also in the different stages of actions monitoring.
  • Develop necessary tools, guidelines, and protocols, and harmonize them across all protection programs.
  • Coordinate the revision of existing materials and/or the development of new ones on protection.
  • Design, adjust, or revise simple monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Participate in forums and/or working groups on protection.
  • Advise and accompany the Alliancecpha National Offices in EiE forums and/or working groups at National Level.
  • Develop protection training modules and programs that provide a general framework and relevant practical tools to support project implementation.
  • Support the National Programs in the establishment of an active referral system for Case Management and in the selection and supervision of partners responsible for providing protection services in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the various international donors.
  • Where appropriate/requested, facilitate training and/or other support to local partners to enhance their efforts in understanding institutional donor requirements and reporting skills related to protection.
  • Support high-quality reports.
  • Realize other tasks according to needs and requirements of the Emergency Unit Coordinator and/or Sectorial Responsible.
