Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Storage Sales Specialist to join our team at IBM. As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and showcasing IBM's industry-leading storage solutions to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management and Value Communication: Manage client relationships, effectively communicate IBM's value proposition, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Decision Maker Engagement: Identify and engage with key decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and establish partnerships to drive business results.
  • Sales Process Leadership: Oversee the complete sales process, with a focus on new business development, and collaborate with the broader IBM sales ecosystem to drive pipeline growth.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell IBM's storage solutions to existing clients, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: 3 years of experience in the storage business (technical or sales)
  • Tech Sales Success: A successful track record in tech sales, particularly in new client acquisition
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen in explaining the operational and financial impact of technology solutions
  • Influential Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a strong influence
  • Language Skills: English and Spanish fluent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Storage Market Expertise: Storage market knowledge to be a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's storage offerings is provided)
