Job Title: Engineering Team Leader

At Motork, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, collaborating with architects and senior engineers, and driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a scrum team of 3-4 engineers, supporting them in day-to-day operations
  • Liaise with architects and other senior engineers to remove blockers and improve capacity
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to deliver value incrementally and constantly
  • Understand business needs and ensure solutions address them properly
  • Advocate best practices and value-driven mindset among engineers and product managers
  • Liaise with QA engineers to test user stories
  • Help improve our way of working through continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Previous significant hands-on experience in a software engineering role
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices
  • Bias for action and customer-centric approach
  • Experience working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration, and Delivery
  • Track record of proven people management experience focused on developing and growing people
  • Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
