Job Title: Senior Business Planning Analyst

At Novartis, we're committed to improving and extending people's lives. As a Senior Business Planning Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in driving performance, productivity, and financial forecast for our Global Drug Development (GDD) line functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal customer groups to prepare and challenge short-term plans for expenses and headcount.
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, cost savings, and productivity initiatives.
  • Support the month-end closing process by reviewing and analyzing actual costs, expenses, and headcount reports.
  • Liaise with management, trial managers, and support functions to optimize trial resource allocation and lifetime budgets.
  • Report the budget and LOs in corporate tools and systems within local and global timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related field.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong financial controlling skillset, functional know-how, and excellent analytical skills.
