Job Description

We are seeking a Piping Engineer to join our team in Madrid and Bilbao. The selected person will be responsible for:

  1. Design and Development
  • Definition of 2D piping layout drawings.
  • Participation in the definition of piping classes (PSI, DIN, etc).
  • Material selection and sizing.
  • MTO preparation.
  • Generation of isometrics.
Piping Design and Engineering
  • P&IDs: 3D piping diagrams.
  • Stress and force calculations.
  • Design/revision of supports.
Procurement and Purchasing
  • Involvement in procurement/purchasing phases (supplier selection/validation, evaluation of technical proposals, etc).
Collaboration and Communication
  • Cooperation with piping designers in the selection of optimum routes to simplify stress design and assembly work.
  • Verification of comments and follow-up on piping surveys and drawings for correct inclusion of stresses and civil requirements for stresses.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed technical engineering.
  • Experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar position.
  • Specialty in Structures (metallic and cement/concrete).
  • Software: Caesar.
  • Medium/high level of English.
