Postdoctoral Researcher for Sodium-Ion System Development and Cell Prototyping

**Job Summary**
The Cell Prototyping Group at CIC energiGUNE is seeking a highly skilled Researcher to contribute to the development of sustainable sodium ion batteries. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of sodium ion battery pouch cell prototypes, covering the entire process from electrode formulation to pouch cell prototype assembly for electrochemical characterization and validation of the technology.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and optimize different presodiation strategies to enhance cell energy and power performance targets.
- Formulate and characterize electrode materials, including ink formulation, mixing, coating, drying, and calendering.
- Transfer processes from lab scale to prototype line, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Assemble and electrochemically characterize pouch cell prototypes for technology validation.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property related to electrochemical energy storage.
