Postdoctoral Researcher in Electrolyzer Design and Engineering

The Hydrogen Electrochemistry Group at CIC energiGUNE is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the field of electrolyzer design and engineering. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be part of a multidisciplinary environment and work closely with postdocs and PhD students in the research centre.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design new electrolyzer cell concepts and geometries, and optimize electrochemical processes such as metal electroplating and output gas collection.
- Cell Modelling and Simulations: Develop and apply cell models and simulations to improve electrolyzer performance.
- Electrochemical Characterization: Conduct electrochemical characterization of solid electrolyte-electrode interfaces.
- Dissemination of Results: Present research findings in project meetings, publications, and conferences.
- Contract and Professional Development: A 3-year contract with opportunities for professional development and renewal based on satisfactory job performance.

- PhD in Electrochemistry or Similar: A PhD in Electrochemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
