Cybersecurity Specialist

The Applus+ Group is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our corporate cybersecurity team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Cybersecurity Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to our systems and data.
- Compliance and Auditing: Operate cybersecurity systems related to compliance and auditing to ensure we meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner to minimize impact and ensure rapid recovery.
- Proactive Security Measures: Collaborate with the team to implement proactive security measures to prevent future incidents.
- Security Audits and Recommendations: Conduct periodic security audits and provide recommendations for mitigation to ensure our systems and data remain secure.
- Security Process Development: Contribute to the development of security processes and procedures to ensure we stay ahead of emerging threats.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, including frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001, TISAX, and regulations such as GDPR.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Strategic Thinking: Skills and strategic thinking to review risk profiles and prioritize actions.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Bash, Python, and PowerShell programming languages, as well as experience with security tools, SIEM, EDR, IDS, Proxy, etc.
- Cloud Security: Experience in cloud solutions, especially in Azure and AWS.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying up to date on the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity, researching new techniques and tools to improve protection.
You will need a degree in System Informatics or equivalent, and a high level of both oral and written English.
