Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large and complex data sets to support business operations.
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive business insights.
  • Design and implement statistical and predictive models to optimize sales processes and strategies.
  • Customize and improve algorithms for various applications, including website optimization and search results.
  • Develop and present comprehensive data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Review and oversee tasks performed by junior analysts, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
  • Conceptualize, follow up, and deliver analytics projects, including definition of KPIs, creation and communication of insights, and project definitions for junior analysts.
  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring that complex data insights are understood and actionable.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales or business analytics role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale cloud data analysis frameworks.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and time series analysis.
  • Proven experience in developing KPIs and conducting A/B testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and technical leadership.
  • Ability to extract and translate business metrics and questions from data sets into well-documented and actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
