Job Summary

Hilton Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Cook to join our team. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in the production and organization of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce the mise en place of the kitchen, ensuring the organization and hygiene standards are met.
  • Prepare food using appropriate techniques of cooking under the guidance of your superior.
  • Store and check the validity of food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist other departments whenever necessary, providing exceptional customer service.
  • During shift changes, transmit information to the incoming team and seek previous shift information, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and concentration, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Interest in developing the culinary skills and knowledge of the company.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Previous experience in an industrial kitchen, with a strong understanding of food hygiene practices.
