Job Title: Senior Web Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Systems Engineer to join our team at Sika. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our web-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements
  • Implement automation and monitoring tools to improve system reliability and performance
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in architectural decisions and ensure alignment with overall project goals

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in web application development and deployment
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top10 and web security standards
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and Java-based content management systems
  • Knowledge of cloud, on-prem, and hybrid solutions, as well as agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
