Job Title: Web Publishing Systems Engineer

At Devoteam, we're seeking a skilled Web Publishing Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for evaluating and implementing web publishing systems, ensuring the availability and scalability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop fault-tolerant mechanisms to ensure the availability of our services and applications.
  • Monitor infrastructure and develop predictive alert systems to prevent incidents.
  • Participate in post-mortems and communicate stats on system availability.
  • Transform legacy components and align them with current best practices.
  • Automate and remove manual intervention in all processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with web publishing systems and proxying (Nginx).
  • Solid knowledge in Linux, system monitoring, tuning, and configuration management.
  • Ability to automate using scripts (mainly Python/Go).
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems using high- and low-level debugging tools and techniques throughout our stack.
  • Knowledge in deployment/configuration tooling: Ansible/Helm.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git).
  • Experience working with pipelines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Akamai security and publishing services.
  • ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
  • Infrastructure-as-a-Code using Terraform.
  • Cloud Provider services, S3, VM, networking (Azure preferred).
