Asset Management Engineer

Quintas Energy specializes in Power Management with a dedicated team of 200 experts providing asset oversight, consultancy, and development services primarily throughout Europe, the UK, and Australia. We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to enhance our Asset Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing issue resolutions, updating the Asset Management system, and delivering reports to clients, with a focus on failures and deficiencies that may lead to production losses, including conducting an Economic Impact Assessment.
  • Generating standard monthly and quarterly performance reports.
  • Maintaining the reporting platform, QE Connect, with comprehensive site information, including components, contracts, technical specifications, locations, and establishing automatic reminders for compliance deadlines and events.
  • Analyzing O&M reports to assess incident management and its effects on plant performance, along with conducting regular performance review meetings with operators.
  • Ensuring O&M contractor adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, including the evaluation of monthly reports.
  • Supervising O&M contractor's corrective maintenance efforts and confirming their compliance with the O&M contract.
  • Assisting in the calculation of contractual Performance Ratio (PR) and/or availability metrics in accordance with contractual guidelines.
  • Reviewing site visit reports from the Operations Manager and addressing any identified issues.
  • Authorizing exceptional works performed by Contractors.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Energy Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in monitoring energy assets, with familiarity in the PV solar sector being advantageous.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills to manage the preparation and delivery of regular and specialized reports to Quintas Energy's clients.
  • Analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluent English communication skills at a professional level, with knowledge of additional European languages being a plus.
  • The ability to travel frequently to the UK and other markets where Quintas Energy operates.
