Job Opportunity: Android Developer

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Android mobile applications that drive real-time data, video, and audio solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop secure, reliable, and scalable Android mobile applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
  • Engage with the Android development community across Amazon to share learnings and grow
Requirements:
  • Experience in professional software development with a focus on Android
  • Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
