Job Title: Android Developer, Key

Are you passionate about innovative technology and solving everyday problems? Do you want to be part of a team that's transforming an entire industry using the internet of things (IoT)?

We're seeking a motivated and multi-talented engineer to join our Amazon Key team. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you'll work on developing and integrating cutting-edge technologies from IoT, wireless, and cloud computing into pragmatic solutions for Ring customers, package transportation, logistics, and delivery.

Your software will guide Amazon customers to access their access-control devices via mobile app. You'll also be building solutions for 3P partners to install and configure IoT-enabled devices at properties through iOS and Android applications owned by Amazon Key.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing Android mobile applications
  • Designing new, secure, and reliable features that drive real-time data, video, and audio solutions
  • Utilizing modern Android development design patterns
  • Proposing innovative tools, frameworks, automations, and processes for the entire Android team
  • Participating in hiring and developing the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
