**Job Summary**

We're seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst to lead and develop the business analysis function within our internal IT function. This role will be responsible for defining standards, methodologies, and metrics for business analysis. The successful candidate will directly contribute to the investigation and assessment of business processes and technology throughout Board, proposing and defining change to deliver greater levels of efficiency or new capabilities to the business.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Undertake business analysis of all solutions, collaborating with internal and external technology and business experts.
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of business analysis across all areas of IT.
  • Formalize and develop the business analysis function, defining methodologies, establishing standards, and performance metrics, as well as training and mentoring the wider team.
  • Undertake a capability/capacity and demand assessment for business analysis.
  • Evaluate managed service options for business analysis to meet demand.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the IT strategy, architecture, roadmap, and policies/standards.
  • Ensure the existence, quality, accuracy, and integrity of all business analysis artifacts, such as process maps, requirements templates, and data flow diagrams.
  • Support the supplier selection, business engagement, and project implementation teams in providing insight and information for and evaluating proposals (internal and external) and developing business cases for all new technology investments.
  • Collaborate with business partnership, architecture, implementation, and service delivery teams to define the scope of technical projects, directly supporting them in identifying and defining goals, risks, issues, and resource requirements.
  • Provide process/technical consultancy for application and infrastructure requirements, working across technology and business teams, ensuring a consistency of approach and adherence to technical design standards.
  • Work with other business and technology subject matter experts to define and deliver the IT strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
