Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Partner Solutions Architect who is enthusiastic about assisting our partners in constructing scalable infrastructures and applications.

Our solutions architects are aspiring technologists possessing both technical breadth and depth, complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is tasked with driving revenue, adoption, and growth from a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients, including those in the public sector.

The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading organizations, believing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global clientele that is developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.

As a Solutions Architect within SMGS, you will engage directly with some of our largest and fastest-growing partners to mitigate risks and foster innovation through technical evaluations, presentations, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Lead architectural discussions and design sessions to create top-tier solutions built on AWS, ensuring they are tailored for successful cloud deployment.
  • Act as an AWS advocate, educating customers of all sizes on the benefits of AWS.
  • Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
  • Establish relationships with senior technical personnel both internally and externally to empower them as cloud champions.
  • Document and disseminate best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community.

A Day in the Life:

In this role, you will represent both the partner and the customer. This principle is crucial for ensuring the appropriate services are utilized while developing secure, robust, and relevant solutions for clients.

We collaborate with a wide array of partners addressing intriguing challenges. This position requires you to delve into a partner's solution, continuously learn about our services, and understand how partners leverage our solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and coding skills.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
  • Professional experience in architecting and operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in software development or internet-related industries.
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
