About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Damco Spain SL. As an Integrated Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth for our medium impact client base in Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Needs Mapping: Identify customer needs and work with the product team to propose end-to-end services that meet customer needs and pain points.
  2. Sales Management: Manage assigned customers and budgets, pursue and secure business in line with corporate and regional objectives.
  3. Customer Value Propositions: Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities.
  4. Consultative Sales: Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers.
  5. Service Offerings: Build understanding of all service offerings to be able to offer additional logistics products.
  6. Selling Process: Manage the selling process to customers, including pricing and contract negotiations.
  7. Territory Research: Research and understand the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers.
  8. Competitive Analysis: Research and analyze competitive and industry trends (e.g., analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, study literature regarding new and existing services and monitor sales, prices and services of competitors).
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: Previous experience as an Area Sales Representative or Business Development Manager with a good understanding of the Spanish customer needs.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in multiple roles and companies.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to map customer needs and work with the product team to propose end-to-end cold chain services that meet customer needs and pain points.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic but highly structured environment with strong competencies in English and proficiency in enterprise systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, etc.), Microsoft Office package, CRM, SCM tools and Tableau a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Consultative & solution selling, Stakeholder management, Effective teamwork.
