About the Role

Ambit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting advanced incident response investigations to various security incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough incident response investigations to identify and contain security threats.
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to maintain and enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Develop and improve incident response procedures to ensure effective response to security incidents.
  • Analyze and reverse malware to identify attack patterns and anomalies.
  • Use scripting languages and query languages to analyze and interpret logs and events.
  • Work with Windows and Linux systems to identify and contain security threats.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in incident response and cybersecurity.
  • Strong foundation in investigations, case management practices, and forensic analysis.
  • Proficiency in leading Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and familiarity with forensic analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) and query languages (VQL, KQL).
  • Experience with analysis and reversing tools (IDA PRO, OLY DBG, volatility, MemProcFS, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret logs and events in security device consoles, specifically IDS, Firewalls, SIEM, and EDR.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Availability and willingness to travel.
