Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Internal Audit Specialist to join our Corporate Audit Group, reporting to an Audit Manager. The successful candidate will conduct financial and operational reviews of Fluidra's domestic and international operations, interacting with financial and operational management personnel across the Group.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate risk and controllership, in line with the Corporate Audit vision and mission.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits proactively and autonomously, reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Review and evaluate compliance with corporate policies and procedures, identifying and clearly defining audit issues and root causes.
- Recommend improved internal controls and business processes, ensuring that corrective action plans are developed and implemented.
- Promote a zero-tolerance control environment, where fraud or noncompliance is unacceptable and difficult to conceal.
- Prepare work papers to adequately document audit work performed and support conclusions reached.
- Prepare reports and audit findings, actively participating in Global initiatives aimed at improving Corporate Audit's processes and procedures.
- 3 to 5 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big4 background.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with other languages valued.
- Required travel in-country and internationally, averaging up to 30%.
