About the Role

Rijk Zwaan is seeking a highly skilled Squash Breeder to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our Squash breeding team, you will be responsible for developing new squash varieties for global market segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate crop-related processes, including seed logistics, crossing, and phenotyping.
  • Improve processes and implement the latest technology developments.
  • Design and evaluate variety trials worldwide.
  • Participate in strategic discussions about the breeding program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in horticulture, agriculture, applied biology, or plant breeding.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills.
  • Previous experience in plant breeding is an asset.
