About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon Logistics, a dynamic and inclusive employer, as an Operations Manager on the Night Shift. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
  • Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security, to design and deliver initiatives that enhance operational performance
About the Team

Amazon Logistics handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. Our goal is to provide a seamless delivery experience for our customers, leveraging creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of products into their hands. We are a people-focused and supportive team, with a strong emphasis on operations and a commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains
