Strategic Vice President of Sustainability and Growth

Job Summary
Vitrolife Group is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Strategy and Sustainability to join our executive management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our strategic initiatives and sustainability efforts, defining and implementing our company-wide strategy, and optimizing our structure and processes to ensure sustainable growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Development: Lead mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and partnership projects in collaboration with our executive management team and broader organization.
- Strategic Planning: Coordinate the definition and implementation of our company's strategic plans, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Project Management Office (PMO): Manage our PMO to ensure the successful execution of strategic projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Market Intelligence: Serve as the centralized repository for market information, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices across all operations.
- Sustainable Product Development: Collaborate with our R&D team to integrate sustainability into product development, ensuring products are designed with lifecycle impacts in mind.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including investors, customers, and regulatory bodies, to communicate and advance our sustainability agenda.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sustainability and strategy execution, reporting progress to our CEO and board of directors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives, providing strategic and sustainability insights to support decision-making processes.
- Leadership and Culture: Build and maintain a high-performance culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.
- Talent Development: Develop talent and ensure we have a strong pipeline of future leaders committed to strategic and sustainable growth.
Requirements
- Academic degree in business administration, engineering, environmental science, or a related field with a bachelor's degree as a minimum.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior-level strategic and sustainability management roles in a MedTech or life science company.
- Mandatory experience in buying companies, including identifying strategic targets, conducting thorough due diligence, working on valuation models, integration plans, and deal closures.
