About The Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Theshackwings. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing the operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and supervise restaurant staff to achieve business objectives and goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales, customer service, and employee retention.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to staff as needed.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and maintenance.
    • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition and that all health and safety standards are met.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service and Quality
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
    • Monitor and improve the quality of food and service to ensure that it meets our high standards.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Manage employee relations, including conflicts, grievances, and performance issues.
    • Ensure that all employment laws and regulations are complied with.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years' experience as a restaurant general manager or in a similar role.
    • Associates or bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and maintenance.
    • Ability to manage finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
