Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Engineering Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations and maintenance of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the build out of facility-specific infrastructure in existing locations.
- Manage a team of engineers responsible for ensuring 100% availability of mechanical and electrical services.
- Conduct financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions.
- Negotiate and roll out contracts and define and audit SLAs.
- Participate in recruiting efforts and train and develop team members.
- Conduct project management for multiple sites and draw from a deep understanding of business operations to make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in data center engineering management and people management.
- Bachelor's Degree (Grado - Licenciatura) or Technical Degree and relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
