The Quality Engineer at Hyperion Materials & Technologies is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system of the production unit adheres to the ISO 9001:2015 standards. This role involves engaging in initiatives aimed at enhancing the continuous improvement strategies set forth by the Operations management team.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and define corrective actions while collaborating with relevant departments.
- Oversee and evaluate internal and supplier nonconformities.
- Monitor quality indicators through statistical analysis.
- Contribute to the development of new products and modifications to existing ones, including customer requirements, control plans, and certifications.
- Validate equipment and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) when required by automotive clients or other customers.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the quality management system.
- Prepare quality certificates for clients.
- Conduct internal audits of systems, processes, and products.
- Provide training to operators on quality-related matters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial sector, specifically in quality, production, or engineering roles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Experience as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Proficient in quality and problem-solving methodologies.
- Understanding of metallurgy principles.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in English communication.
