Job Title: Sourcing/Procurement Trainee

Galderma is a leading dermatology company that is committed to delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of consumers and patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing/Procurement Trainee to join our team in Barcelona.

Job Summary:

The Sourcing/Procurement Trainee will play a key role in supporting the Indirect Procurement Team in executing short-term and long-term projects across EMEAC. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including data gathering and analysis, supplier communications, and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management and analysis of supplier spend data and payment terms
  • Learn about the corporate sustainability program (Ecovadis) and track compliance
  • Understand complex financial systems and associated software
  • Provide business support for day-to-day operations in commodity areas
  • Support existing projects and systems where compliance is necessary
  • Conduct market research for new suppliers and services
  • Support the negotiation of commercial deals and identify key areas of risk
  • Operate agile and effective commercial processes, including cost analysis and contract execution
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to identify cost-saving projects within business functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of procurement/sourcing methodology
  • PowerBI knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English (other languages a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree or studying towards it
