Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend in Spain. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize value and manage risks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Guidance: Provide expert procurement guidance to clients to ensure they achieve their goals and objectives.
  • End-to-End Procurement Services: Offer comprehensive procurement services for construction projects, including tendering, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and execute procurement strategies and plans to meet client needs and achieve business objectives.
  • Market and Supply Chain Interaction: Interact with the market and supply chain nationally and internationally to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Sustainability Expertise: Provide expertise to incorporate sustainability in procurement processes and help clients achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Tender Document Creation: Create tender documents and scrutinize contract paperwork from other parties to ensure compliance and value for money.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 8 years of overall experience with 3 years dedicated to procurement in capital projects or services.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, a degree in engineering or quantity surveying.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both Spanish and English at a business level.
