FeverUp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Legal Counsel to support our corporate expansion efforts worldwide. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in advising on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth and sustained development of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research across multiple jurisdictions to provide preliminary analyses of expansion opportunities for FeverUp's business and possible strategies and structures.
- External Partnerships: Identify, engage, and work with external legal advisors, PROs, and corporate services providers to support FeverUp's new and existing corporate structure.
- Document Drafting and Review: Draft and review a range of legal and corporate documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Country Trends and Compliance: Keep up to date on key country trends (politics or key legislation) that may impact expansion into specific countries and advise on general legal matters related to FeverUp's global operations.
- Internal Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and practice effective communication to achieve strategic priorities.
- Knowledge Management: Take responsibility for knowledge management, including preparation and revision of templates and legal guides, and memos.
- Corporate Compliance: Participate in ongoing corporate compliance functions as required.
- Team Development: Upskill, support, and grow other team members.
- A barred/practising lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE (experience in Corporate Law a plus).
- A native English speaker, with fluency in another language, a plus.
- A creative and practical problem-solver, with a can-do attitude and who is piqued by facing new intellectual challenges and honing their risk assessment and management skills.
- A team-player and effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work.
