Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of the Human Resources Group, you will handle a wide range of HR tasks and ensure the smooth operations of the HR functions on a day-to-day basis for all European business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides tactical support for employment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Interacts with staff at all levels and provides technical guidance/direction to colleagues.
  • Ensures compliance with country labor laws and company policies.
  • Assists in the implementation of corporate policy at the business unit or division level.
  • Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues.
  • Resolves employee relations issues through a systematic approach.
  • Assists senior management in the development of solutions through a cultural and process perspective organizational development.
  • Develops and drives company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock option grants renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change).
  • Leads special projects in the realm of human resources management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in human resources.
  • Working knowledge of country labor laws.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Competency in Business Acumen, Communication, Consultation, Compliance, Ethical Practice, Global & Cultural Awareness, HR Expertise, and Relationship Management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in a related field.
  • Professional HR Certification (CIPD) or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Experience working in HR for an Engineering or Construction Company.
  • Experience in Immigration Administration and/or International Assignments a plus.
Working Conditions

Sedentary for prolonged periods, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
