Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at AXA XL. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal support to our underwriting departments and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of contact for underwriting departments and provide legal advice on a wide range of matters
  • Propose solutions that comply with applicable law and meet the needs of our clients and partners
  • Independently manage various projects and deadlines, providing assistance to AXA XL teams on complex legal issues
  • Review and validate technical contractual documents, including confidentiality agreements, mandates, and co-reinsurance agreements
  • Support the Senior Legal Counsel for France on regulatory matters and contribute to monitoring legal and regulatory developments
  • Participate in the training of underwriters, underwriting assistants, and claims handlers
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in private law, preferably insurance law
  • Specialized in insurance law, including global programs expertise, and related litigations
  • French mother tongue, proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential
  • Organizational skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, and aptitude for collaboration within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
