Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist Job Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health of the organization. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing decision-making processes and driving strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain comprehensive management reports that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Pinpoint areas for enhancement and streamline reporting workflows utilizing SQL and Big Query.
  • Deliver consistent updates regarding organizational performance and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
  • Construct and uphold financial models, budgets, and forecasts to guide financial planning.
  • Engage collaboratively with various departments to ensure precise financial reporting and analysis.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in leading technology, consulting, or venture capital firms.
  • Proficient in SQL and programming languages.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data analytics.
  • Capable of managing high volumes of transactions and deriving actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
