Job Summary
We are currently recruiting a Settlement Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating payment solutions for our business in the Nordic region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payment methods and be able to find the best payment method for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Payment Method Research: Conduct thorough research on various payment methods, including ACH, CIT, Card Terminals, and others.
- Payment Method Roll-out: Roll out settlement methods, such as card payment, CIT, Smart Safes, ACH, and others.
- Provider Comparison: Compare different payment providers and choose the best alternative for our business.
- Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans and execute them if one settlement method is blocked.
- Provider Relations: Establish and maintain good relations with payment providers and their main contact persons.
- Performance Review: Review the performance of current agents with CIT service and provide feedback to the manager.
- Agent Communication: Communicate with agents to ensure they understand their payment method, especially new agents.
- Schedule Review: Review each pick-up schedule service and adjust accordingly in Fx-Client.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum A-level education, degree in a financial discipline is an advantage.
- Work Experience: 2-3 years' work experience as an office clerk.
- Language Skills: Good oral and written communication skills in English; any other Nordic language will be highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Good level of Microsoft Office packages; at least an intermediate level of Excel.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, team player, proactive, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to be flexible and adaptable when working in a fast-paced, often pressurized environment.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in financial services or business development will be valued.
