Job Summary:
As a Commercial Administrator at Primark, you will provide administrative support to the Commercial team, ensuring the smooth operation of commercial activities. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Commercial Manager, including data entry, report preparation, and document management.
- Assist in compiling reports on competition within the region, including market analysis and trend identification.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Store, B&M, and Depot, to resolve stock issues and facilitate communication.
- Support the Core lines process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Compile and update Weekly and Period Trade Reports, providing insights into sales trends and market performance.
- Facilitate NLP checks and work with collections and returns from both Stores and B&M teams.
- Support the Commercial Manager with stock allocation, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.
Requirements:
- Experience with business software, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and coordinating skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Intermediate level of English language proficiency.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in administration, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
- Good business acumen, with a sound understanding of commercial operations.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
