Job Summary

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a critical role in processing payroll transactions, time and attendance data, and employee records. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution, while also partnering with key stakeholders to support their business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing: Review, enter, and validate payroll transactions and related data directly into payroll systems.
  2. Payroll Vendor Partnership: Partner with the Payroll vendor to execute payroll processing through each step of the payroll end-to-end process, including variance analysis and payroll funding coordination.
  3. Employee Support: Investigate, validate, correct, and provide employee support with overpayments/underpayments when identified/required.
  4. Bank Reject Management: Manage all Bank rejects and coordinate with employees to rectify missing data.
  5. Equity Transactions: Process daily equity transactions and off-cycle and immediate pay requests.
  6. Case Management: Process cases via the case management system and respond to employees/managers/time partners directly regarding inquiries in accordance with all internal SLAs.
  7. Operational Efficiency: Identify and/or participate in the identification and development of new procedures and policies striving to drive operational efficiency and recommend changes to optimize operations and improve efficiencies.
  8. Stakeholder Support: Support stakeholders by collaborating on Payroll programs/deductions like leave processing, fleet management, severance processing, etc.
  9. Reporting: Compile simple to moderate payroll or time reports for internal payroll validation.
  10. Time and Attendance Data: Execute the time and attendance data extract for loading into the payroll.
  11. Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting pay or time issues and driving resolution both internally and with customers.
  12. SLA Adherence: Support the payroll operations by adhering to both internal and vendor SLAs.
  13. Change Management: Lead the Time and Attendance change requests from requirements to production.
  14. Project Participation: Participate in projects/enhancements from development to production including system upgrades or new configuration requirements, as needed.
Requirements
  1. Payroll Experience: Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience in management of French payroll, additional countries will be considered an asset.
  2. Payroll System Experience: Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience in management in Global View, additional payroll solutions will be considered an asset.
  3. Technical Payroll Knowledge: Technical Payroll experience with and knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.
  4. Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Ability to think analytically and perform detail-oriented tasks.
  5. Case Management Experience: Experience working with Service Now case management and/or other case management tools preferred.
  6. Time Management and Organization: Strong time management and organization skills; ability to effectively multi-task.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  8. Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables, minimally.
  9. Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.
  10. Payroll Regulations: Knowledge of applicable payroll and related tax regulations, legislation and guidelines including, but not limited to writs of garnishment, child support, levies, subpoenas, equity taxation, termination laws, etc.
  11. Operational Process Improvement: Experience in execution of operational process improvements.
  12. Project Management: Experience in Project Management.
  13. O365 Experience: Advanced experience in O365: Word, Excel, Teams, PowerBI.
  14. Independent Worker and Team Player: Independent worker and collaborative team player.
  15. Workday Experience: Experience with Workday as an HR system, preferred.
  16. International Payroll Insights: International Payroll insights, preferred.
  17. ADP Experience: Experience utilizing and reporting out of below tools, highly preferred: ADP Global view, ADP Celergo, EY.
  18. Education: BA/BS degree preferred.
