We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Receptionist to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the front office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-in and Check-out: Register and process check-in for all arrivals, handle guest check-outs efficiently and professionally, and update guest information into the computer after a complete check-in.
- Cashiering and Foreign Exchange: Accountable for cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, night audits tasks, and settlement upon Guests' departure.
- Reservation and Guest Service: Handle walk-in counter reservations at all times, process call-in reservations when the room reservations section is closed, and provide friendly and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to all requests and inquiries.
- Security and Safety: Handle issuance of guest room key cards, ensure effective control for guest security, and check and convey messages, mail, and packages to guests.
- Team Collaboration: Assist at the Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business Centre, as assigned, and have knowledge of the hotel rate codes, packages, segmentation, discounts, and how to handle each.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager, be aware of the hotel accident prevention policies, and ensure the cleanliness and neatness of the front office area.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests are greeted on arrival and departure of the hotel, review the log book, verify outstanding issues, and follow up on pending requests.
- Operational Efficiency: Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups, and VIPs, and at the end of the shift or the day, communicate all information that the next shift needs to know for a well-running operation.
- Pre-Arrival Preparation: Prepare for daily arrivals in terms of room allocations, amenities, and special requests of the guests.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled efficiently and courteously, review and update the log book, and check equipment.
- Professionalism and Integrity: Be smart, well-groomed, and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times, oversee day-to-day operations, report regularly on happenings to the Assistant Front Office Manager, follow fire procedures, and adhere to first aid procedures.
- Guest Complaints: Handle guest complaints and report to the manager.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Hotel Management, minimum 1 year in a similar role at a star hotel.
