At Signicat, we are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal at Signicat, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in various tasks, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal research. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions and gain exposure to the cutting-edge field of digital identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing and organizing a variety of legal documents, such as NDAs and amendments.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership for corporate housekeeping.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of contract records and filings.
  • Conduct due diligence in support of various legal transactions.
  • Create, file, and prepare corporate documents.
  • Make sure that templates are up to date.
  • Help maintain and manage Signicat's contract management system, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with local and international laws across our operating regions.
  • Liaise with internal teams to address legal queries and provide support on compliance-related matters.
  • Coordinate electronic signatures, wet ink signatures, and notarization processes.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, from a law firm or a company.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in your work.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in additional languages relevant to our operating regions (e.g., Lithuanian, Spanish, Dutch) is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research tools.
  • A keen interest in digital identity, data protection, and technology law.
