Ebury is a leading FinTech firm that offers a range of innovative products and services. We are seeking a highly skilled **Fintech Strategist** to join our team in Madrid.

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with our product team to develop and implement strategies for our lending and trade finance products.
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of new initiatives, identifying and executing improvements in current features and processes.
* Stay informed of market, industry, and regulatory trends in lending and Fintech to guide our product decisions.
* Support product commercialisation efforts, including proposition development, business case formulation, stakeholder training, and the creation of marketing collateral.
* Define, track, and monitor KPIs for product initiatives, making data-driven decisions and actions based on the results.
* Communicate product performance against KPIs to relevant stakeholders within the organisation.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of stakeholder (internal and external) needs and behaviours to design and deliver successful product outcomes.
* Collaborate with Technology and other stakeholders to define requirements, epics, and user stories.

**Requirements:**

* A strong client focus, making decisions informed by client feedback.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), enabling clear communication of product needs and requirements to leadership, business, and technical stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
* Must Haves: Ideal candidates must be able to evidence: A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy and execution within top-tier environments, either in corporate or startups.
* At least 3 years in a consulting or investment banking role, or experience in a high-growth fintech or neobank.
* Successful delivery of solutions in a fast-paced, agile organisation.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
* Strong analytical abilities, capable of breaking down complex problems into manageable parts.
* A history of grit, determination, and resourcefulness, coupled with a strong desire for professional development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority.
* An extremely social candidate with a great sense of humour will do fantastic in this team.
* Domain knowledge or a keen interest in Payments, Lending, or FX.

**Nice to Haves:**

* Experience working in a high-growth or scale-environment.
* Experience working with expertise across transactional banking, lending, payments, and trade finance.
