Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project management of projects, coordinating the management of the project timetable, quality, and cost, and ensuring client requirements are delivered.
- Work as part of the PM team to ensure we achieve business objectives.
- Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality Standards.
Requirements:
- Awareness of the project lifecycle from feasibility through to completion and post-handover.
- Experience in developing and implementing project controls, such as programmes and risk registers.
- Establishing and overseeing the meetings and other communications needed to successfully deliver the project.
- Experience in procurement of professional teams and contractors.
- Management of multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Working knowledge of various common forms of building contracts (JCT and NEC) and experience in administering building contracts.
Person Specification:
- Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction-related qualification with technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or end-user client.
- Chartered or equivalent professional qualification or currently working toward.
- Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and client/external interface skills.
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritizing workloads and delivering to deadlines.
- A team player with a 'can do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, and flexible.
- Ability to identify and develop potential opportunities to secure more business for RLB.
