Job Overview

Join our e-powertrain team as a Battery Validation Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in assessing the performance and safety of next-generation batteries in our state-of-the-art testing facility. Your responsibilities will include conducting a variety of rigorous tests, including abuse and thermal propagation assessments.

  • Test Setup and Instrumentation: Configure testing apparatus and data collection systems, overseeing the installation of sensors and wiring.
  • Test Execution: Carry out tests in accordance with project specifications, adhering to established protocols and client directives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test results thoroughly and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings.
  • Process Enhancement: Evaluate current testing setups, procedures, and methodologies to boost efficiency and quality, ensuring client satisfaction. Suggest innovative ideas to broaden our service offerings.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Power Electronics or Automotive Engineering is advantageous.

Desired Profile

  • Proficient understanding of electronics, electrical systems, communication protocols, and programming.
  • Familiarity with energy storage solutions and power electronics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with CAN communication tools such as VECTOR CANoe, CANape, and CANalyzer.
  • Background in measurement technology and data acquisition systems.
  • Passion for analyzing measurement data, from initial processing to final reporting.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, particularly in the automotive and electric vehicle sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to clients.
  • Goal-oriented, committed, and service-focused with a proactive attitude and strong team spirit.
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of additional languages, especially German, is a plus.
