Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Actuary Consultant to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our actuarial services practice, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement actuarial solutions that meet their business needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in business development activities, including contributing to proposals and identifying leads with clients
- Managing workstreams within actuarial projects, including project management, methodology setting, and deliverable preparation
- Developing intellectual capital within the actuarial practice
- Assisting with public presentations and press article preparation in relation to research updates
- Managing small projects or parts of bigger projects in a standalone basis with the supervision of a Principal/Partner
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5/6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier actuarial consulting firm or similar organization
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of the value of collaboration and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Deep critical-thinking skills and problem-solving ability
