Role SummaryThe Product Director, Cloud Services role is responsible for contributing to GTT's product strategy, development, and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements. This role covers product areas and frameworks, including Hosting, Private Cloud, Managed Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Virtualization, Containerization, and Cloud Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the cloud services product line to create a scalable and sustainable business.
- Drive innovation within the portfolio and across divisions to ensure competitive market positioning, pricing, technology, and product structure.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements.
- Understand long-term client market and develop product strategies to ensure products are highly competitive.
- Collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaigns that resonate with target buyers.
- Engage in thought leadership and strategic communication activities representing GTT with conferences, industry analysts, and press.
- Deliver a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products address customer needs and pain points.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Experience working within a Product Management function at a global telecoms or managed services provider.
- Understanding of the products and technologies that comprise the portfolio, including managed hosting, public cloud, private cloud, containerization, virtualization, and professional services.
- Understanding of multi-national enterprise networking, security, and compute requirements, with experience of interacting with C-suite contacts in global enterprises.
