We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team at Greif. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute category strategies to achieve business objectives
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing strategies and execute procurement plans
- Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supplier performance and cost savings
- Support the development and implementation of supplier relationship management (SRM) programs
- Proven experience in category management and sourcing, with a strong understanding of the seven steps principal
- Expertise in data analysis and data manipulation using Excel
- Ability to influence others and drive change management initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements
