We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer with expertise in Linux to join our team at Scouter. As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance C++ applications for Linux platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement performance and quality modules to ensure optimal application performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex issues, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and integrate them into projects.
- Document code, processes, and procedures thoroughly.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of proven experience in C++ development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
- Experience with debugging and optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with multi-threading and networking is preferred.
