We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist, to join our team, to lead the purchasing activities for international clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inquire and expedite bids, negotiate and place purchase orders.
- Prepare the list of vendors to be inquired.
- Check purchase conditions and conduct basic negotiations with vendors.
- Issue the bidder list for every Request for Quotation.
- Compile and issue the call for bid and expedite the acknowledgement of receipt of bids.
- Issue the Bid Opening Form.
- Evaluate commercial submissions and attend to bid clarification meetings.
- Negotiate bids up to final proposal.
- Prepare a Commercial Bid Tabulation.
- Prepare and issue the order and expedite order acknowledgement.
- Prepare the amendment to orders.
- Prepare and issue final supplier's evaluation for feedback with respect to general commercial contractual obligations reflected in the order.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or International Trade.
Competencies:
- Negotiation, Procurement, SAP, or any other eTool.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in the purchasing area, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
