Position Overview

Tatutrad S.L. is seeking a proficient Spanish Language Reviewer to join our dynamic team of language professionals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of translation quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage and execute translation and review projects, while fostering strong client relationships as directed by the Production Head.
  • Utilize our Translation Management System (TMS) to oversee projects from inception to completion, assisting team members in their project management tasks.
  • Assess resource needs, including linguists, budget, and timelines, to establish an effective cost structure aligned with project goals.
  • Maintain professional quality and ethical standards throughout all projects.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions to address any gaps.
  • Engage in team meetings and training sessions as necessary.
  • Provide mentorship to Project Coordinators and Interns after acclimatization to our operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity in verbal and written interactions.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and participate in client engagements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Native proficiency in Spanish and fluency in English; knowledge of a third language, preferably French or Italian, is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of translation experience.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment, with the ability to work both remotely and in-office.
  • Prior experience in an in-house translation role is preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in client relationship management and development.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
